Building a Community of Friends with Families of Children and Young Adults with Special Needs
Stone Soup Friday Night is a regularly scheduled respite on Friday Night for children and young adults with special needs and their siblings. We call them "Campers." Parents or care-givers may have a night out or join in the fun!
Campers enjoy activities which include gym games, circle games, crafts, drama, music, and talking with friends.
Holiday Camp @ Christmas and other activities and events are scheduled through-out the year.
Stone Soup on Sunday is a weekly activity-centered Bible discovery time with games, crafts, music, an illustrated Bible lesson and much more conducted by the host church of Stone Soup in your community.
The Stone Soup director will help determine how your child or young adult best fits - whether in a mainstream or reverse mainstream context at Stone Soup on Sunday. For more information contact Tami Burt at specialneeds@faithbaptistmonroe.org
